We are Travon and Shayla—high school sweethearts with a shared passion for bringing people together and creating meaningful, memorable experiences.

Our journey into events began during one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. In 2023, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our beautiful baby boy, Greyson. During that time, we stepped away from our normal routines and found ourselves searching for something that could bring us a sense of peace and purpose.

One day, we decided to decorate an event for a family member just for fun—something simple to help ease our minds. What we didn’t expect was how quickly we would fall in love with the process.

From that moment on, we began decorating more events, and with each one, our passion continued to grow. What started as a small creative outlet turned into something much deeper—something healing, meaningful, and purpose-driven.

As we continued this journey, our vision expanded beyond just event decorating. We realized our desire to create a dedicated space where others could celebrate life’s most important moments with ease, beauty, and intention. That vision led to the creation of Boyd & Beyond Events.

Together, our venue and decorating services allow us to offer a complete experience—from the space itself to the details that bring each event to life. Whether you're hosting a baby shower, birthday celebration, bridal shower, or private gathering, our goal is to provide a setting that feels welcoming, elegant, and stress-free.
